## Terms of Service for 3D Print Log

Last Updated: Oct 16, 2026

These terms apply when you use 3D Print Log: the website at https://www.3dprintlog.com, the Android app, the API at https://api.3dprintlog.com, and the integrations and AI connectors that use it (together, "the service"). The service is operated by **Hoffman Technologies, LLC**, a Florida limited liability company ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our [Privacy Policy](https://www.3dprintlog.com/docs/privacy-policy). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

### Your Account

- You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you need the

  permission of a parent or guardian.

- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including

  activity through API keys you create and AI assistants or integrations you connect.

- Tell us at [hello@3dprintlog.com](mailto:hello@3dprintlog.com) if you think someone else has

  accessed your account.

### Your Content

Your content is everything you add to the service: prints, printers, materials, projects, photos, files, notes and comments.

- **You own your content.** We do not claim ownership of anything you upload.
- **You give us permission to operate the service with it.** That means storing it, processing it

  (for example to calculate material usage, costs and statistics), and showing it to you. If you mark a print, project or profile as public, you also permit us to show it to anyone, including in search results. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content other users have already been shown and copies kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

- **Catalog information you contribute is shared under the MIT License.** This covers information

  that helps identify filament, such as which catalog product a spool's tag code belongs to, or the measured empty weight of a spool. You license it under the MIT License so that it can be shared with open filament databases.

- **You are responsible for what you upload.** Only upload files, models and images you have the

  right to share, and respect the licences of models you print.

### Acceptable Use

Do not use the service to:

- break the law, or infringe anyone else's intellectual property or privacy;
- upload malware, or anything designed to harm the service or its users;
- try to access another user's private data, or get around the service's security or access

  controls;

- place unreasonable load on the service, including through the API, automated scraping or

  attempts to evade rate limits;

- harass other users, including through comments.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

### Integrations, the API and AI Assistants

You can connect the service to other tools: slicer plugins, OctoPrint, Klipper, the API, and AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT through our MCP connector.

- These tools act **on your behalf**, with your account's access. When an AI assistant creates or

  changes a print, printer, material or project, that is treated as your action. Check what an assistant proposes before you approve it.

- Data an assistant reads from your account is sent to the company that provides that assistant,

  and their terms and privacy policy apply to it. See the [Privacy Policy](https://www.3dprintlog.com/docs/privacy-policy#ai-assistants) for details.

- You can disconnect AI assistants at any time in [Settings](https://www.3dprintlog.com/settings), and revoke API keys there

  too.

- Third-party tools are not operated by us, and we are not responsible for how they work.

### Pro Subscription

[3D Print Log Pro](https://www.3dprintlog.com/docs/pro-subscription) is an optional paid subscription.

- Payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription renews automatically each month or year

  until you cancel.

- You can cancel at any time from [Settings](https://www.3dprintlog.com/settings). You keep Pro until the end of the period

  you have paid for, and it does not renew after that.

- Payments are not refundable, and we do not refund partial periods, except where the law

  requires it.

- We may change the price. A new price applies from your next renewal after we have told you

  about it, and you can cancel before then.

### Spoolman Connections and Fair Use

[Spoolman connections](https://www.3dprintlog.com/docs/klipper-spoolman) let your Klipper printers show your spools in Mainsail, Fluidd and KlipperScreen. The free plan includes one connected printer. Pro includes an unlimited number, under fair use.

- **What fair use means:** connections are for printers you own or run yourself, whether that is

  one printer at home or a print farm. Sharing one account so that other people's printers can use it, or reselling access to it, is not fair use.

- **How we notice:** we are alerted when an account has more than 20 connected printers, or when

  its printers connect from more than 5 different networks in a week. The alert goes to a person. Nothing is limited or blocked automatically.

- **What happens next:** we contact the account holder before we cap anything, to understand the

  setup. A large farm you run yourself is fine. We only limit connections when the use is not fair use and we cannot resolve it with you.

- **If you move from Pro to Free,** the first printer you connected keeps working and the others are

  paused, not deleted. They resume when you subscribe again, with no change on the printers.

### Ads

The free version of the service shows ads. Pro subscribers do not see them.

### Estimates and Calculations

The service calculates figures such as remaining material, print costs, electricity use and statistics from the information you and your integrations provide. They are **estimates**. Do not rely on them where accuracy matters, for example for billing customers or for safety.

### Changes and Availability

We are continually improving the service, so features may change, be added or be removed. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the updated terms apply.

### Ending Your Account

You can deactivate your account at any time in [Settings](https://www.3dprintlog.com/settings). Your data is deleted 24 hours after deactivation, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

### Disclaimers

The service is provided **"as is" and "as available"**, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

### Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Hoffman Technologies, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

### Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.

### Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we both consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place where you live.
